“Other solutions did not adequately meet our needs. Confoot products are stable, very easy, and quick to assemble, making them ideal for mobile installations,” says Markus Dargel, project engineer at LSA Systems GmbH, summarizing the advantages of ConFoot legs.

The German LSA GmbH develops and sells laser-based, chemical, non-destructive material analysis systems that enable rapid and contact-free analysis of various materials. The company uses innovative solutions to meet the needs of its customers, who demand flexibility and agility.

“We used two 40-inch Highcube shipping containers to set up a mobile recycling plant,” says Dargel. They used ConFoot legs to position the recycling center on site. The system is placed on the feet at a height of about one meter above the ground.

Mobile container-based solutions combined with ConFoot legs enhance deployment

The measuring systems developed by LSA are used in various industrial sectors, such as the metal industry, environmental technology industry, and raw materials industry, primarily for process and quality control.

Today, LSA is involved in numerous European and international research projects and serves major industrial customers.

“There is a huge growth market in recycling and materials analysis and processing, and we expect strong development in the future as well,” says Dargel about the company’s prospects.

Efficiency and practicality are critical factors in industrial processes, and ConFoot products meet this need. Their ease of use and quick installation are a clear advantage.

Mobile container-based solutions increase the availability of various systems and speed of deployment, as well as reduce additional construction costs. Together with ConFoot’s legs, the possibilities of using such solutions are expanded and made even more straightforward.

Quality and usability as selection criteria

Dargel says that the recycling center they manufactured utilized ConFoot’s CF and CFP models. The products were found while browsing the internet, when they came across ConFoot’s Dutch dealer ContainerPro.

The CF standard model allows the container to be placed in place up to a height of almost 1.5 meters without the need for other container handling equipment. The container is placed directly by the transport truck.

The CFP model allows the container to be attached to a loading dock, and the container doors to open completely to the sides.

Dargel feels that the other solutions available did not sufficiently meet their criteria and needs for setting up the recycling center they were delivering to the customer. The quality and usability of Confoot’s legs were decisive.
